“Philip Massinger, the Author of the following plays, was born in the year 1584. Of his Mother nothing is known, but his father was Arthur Massinger, a gentleman attached to the family of Henry, Second Earl of Pembroke”. 

4 volumes. Engraved portrait frontispiece to volume 1. 

Interior: Occasional spotting and foxing, pages age toned (occasional offsetting- including offsetting from frontispiece).

Exterior: Full contemporary calf (spines re-backed, later title labels to spines, wear to spines and boards).
