FAQs

A relative of mine has died and we have been left with a collection of books. Would you be interested in valuing and buying?

We are interested in collections of books, but not in modern 20th century reference, unless of course signed. With collections of older or signed books please feel free to email us at books@nuckley.me.uk including photographs of the spines and title pages and any useful pieces of information regarding the books, including any significant provenance. If you are looking for a valuation, this is a service we do not offer, however a local auction house is always a good port of call if you just want to know what a book is worth.

Do you buy odd volumes?

Alas no, unless signed or an early rare work (i.e. prior to 1700).

Can you come and value my book?

At this point we are not offering valuations. A local auction house is a good port of call.

Can you look at my books?

In the first instance please send us an email. We can visit however only for larger collections or if there are items of interest which have already been identified.

Many thanks

Nuckley Rare Books.
