Frontispiece, 4 plates. 

Interior: LACKING patterned front endpaper, frontispiece detached, occasional scattered spotting to pages, light browning to pages commensurate with age, brown staining- offsetting from old newspaper clippings to pages in places.

Exterior: Publisher’s, pictorial red cloth, black and gilt (wear to cloth, tearing to inner hinges/webbing at front gutter, splitting to inner hinges at rear gutter).

PROVENANCE: Previous owner’s inscription inside on front endpaper.
