PROVENANCE: Ex library copy with stamps and inscriptions by library in places throughout, including ink stamp to title pages: “Presented by the Trustees of the British Museum”..

Please note that a later accompanying folios showing the plates were released at a later date by the museum, however for sale here are the two volumes of ‘Medallic Illustrations.. (1885) ’ ONLY and NOT the folios.

A scarce reference set for any medal collector.
