SIGNED by author Rachel Annand Taylor. Inscription dated October 1927. Taylor has also added the inscription: ‘’To Alice with love from the…” last word is illegible ‘Barnhard’.

Rachel Annand Taylor (1876 – 1960) was a Scottish poet, prominent in the Celtic Revival, and later a biographer and literary critic.
