HUNTER, H.R. Salute To The Hen. Being Reminiscences Over 30 Years of Poultry Farming. 

“I do remember that when I was eight or ten we had about a dozen hens in the garden and sometimes I had to fetch the “pollards” for them, but there was a very long gap between that time and the year 1919 when I started poultry farming, something like 26 years”.

Monochrome photographic plates throughout. 

Interior: Occasional light spotting, minor creasing to endpapers.

Exterior: Publisher’s green cloth (light wear) with red, white, black, and monochrome photographic dust-wrapper (torn with loss, remainder of dust wrapper has been preserved in a clear plastic sleeve).
