“The Vaudois, or, as they are commonly but erroneously designated, Waldenses, inhabit the lower portion of that division of the Cotton Alps, which lies between Monte Vito and Mont Genevre”.

Interior: Pages age toned, occasional spotting. Chipping and tearing to corners of map, text block splitting in places. Old marks from removed item on front and rear paste-downs.

Exterior: Publisher’s green cloth, some wear, staining, and fading, chipping to spine, corners of boards turned down and bumped.

PROVENANCE: Signature to front endpaper : ‘Thos Spalding’.
