Wine Interest. Exceptionally rare 1820’s pamphlet relating to Persereano, Italy.
Vinea Persereani ad Raymundum Cortelecium cum Teresia Voralea Nuptias Ineuntem. 10pp. (Foxing, staining and spotting, some minor worming to blank margins). Disbound (without boards). Utini, [Udine??] Apud Fratres Mattiuzzi, 1827.
Comprising mostly of poetry in Latin, this work appears to relate to a Wedding Anniversary or Wedding ceremony with odes relating to the participants. The last two pages are in Italian and reference vineyards at Persereano, and a Sig. Raimondo Bassi cultivator (?) of praiseworthy and most valuable wines. Included in the photos are the two pages of Italian for reference purposes.
[Valentinelli 275 -Bibliografia del Friuli] . Also mentioned in Elenco delle opere stampate e pubblicate in Venezia e nelle Provincie Venete nell’anno 1827 on page 129, citing 100 copies. Could not find a copy in either Worldcat or Libraryhub (COPAC).
