Four volume set of Macaulay’s Essays (London, 1864) bound in half brown morocco.
Condition: Spines and boards a worn (part of spine to volume 3 re-adhered). Please note that these volumes are sold with all faults, and are uncollated. Volume 4 has numerous blue biro scribblings inside, which have been partially erased from the front endpapers – taking some of the page with it! Other biro scribblings to endpapers in other volumes. These books are for decoration purposes and as such this is reflected in the price!! Great for interior decoration.
